What is the Onshore Occupation List?
The Queensland Onshore Skilled Occupation List identifies which occupations are eligible for nomination under:
Subclass 190 – Skilled Nominated (Permanent) visa
Subclass 491 – Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa
This list applies to onshore applicants only — people already living in Australia.

What Is the “Building and Construction Workforce Pathway”?
Some occupations in the list are marked “Yes” under the building and construction workforce pathway column.
This means:
You may qualify for priority nomination through the Building and Construction stream
Migration Queensland may nominate you for the 190 visa, even if your points or location would otherwise place you under the 491 stream
This stream was created to support infrastructure and housing needs across Queensland, especially with upcoming projects like Brisbane 2032.
